TYPE OF PARTNERSHIP:

Partners of the project include ARTS for HEALTH AUSTRIA, whom are active in the promotion of art interventions in the context of health and well-being, IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems, music therapy start-ups such us ArtWave and Ludwig Med, as well as doctors and artists.


TYPE OF ACTIONS IMPLEMENTED:

The project builds on the methodology of the previously proven singing-based respiratory therapy. The project that combines art, medicine and music therapy. The professionals involved in the programme are responsible for creating a consciously musical breathing programme, with the aim of helping people affected by long-Covid-19. The professionals involved in the project include breathing coaches, singers and music therapists. Participants in the programme will be helped to enhance both their physical and mental wellbeing by improving their ability to relax and by the stress and anxiety-reducing effects of breathing exercises.


LEVEL OF COOPERATION AMONG ACTORS INVOLVED:

This project is a collaboration between breathing coaches, singers, music therapists, who are working with people affected by the Covid-19.


WHAT INSPIRES US?:

The project responds to a very specific physical problem using the power of art, medicine and music. It is inspiring to be able to combine these solutions and provide patients with a wide range of options for healing.
