TYPE OF PARTNERSHIP:

Eleven professionals from different disciplinary fields who in the last twenty years have been deeply engaged in research-action on the virtuous relationship between culture and health, cooperating on many initiatives and projects and who have decided to unite to systematize intelligence and skills service of a growth of civilization. The founders are accompanied by a growing Knowledge Community made up of scholars, practitioners and experts.


TYPE OF ACTIONS IMPLEMENTED:

The institution places itself in terms of supply chain innovation in processes and methodologies oriented towards the creation of health as a common good, welfare and integral education of people and communities. It is the only center of expertise on the virtuous relationship between Culture and Health in Italy. In an advocacy role, CCW intends to support the ongoing transformation by:

  • direct research activity and giving value to research carried out by other subjects;
  • definition of strategies, planning and implementation of intervention plans;
  • the development of methodological innovation through research-action interventions related to specific challenges (from early childhood to active ageing, to the care of caretakers);
  • the strategic accompaniment of policy makers, public and private entities in the cultural, educational, social-welfare, health, business and philanthropy worlds at national, European and international level;
  • capacity building through the CCW School.

LEVEL OF COOPERATION AMONG ACTORS INVOLVED:

Associative statute regulating the aims of the non-profit Association. Partnership among COREP – Consorzio per la ricerca e l’educazione permanente, DoRS – Centro di documentazione per la promozione della salute Regione Piemonte and Fondazione Fitzcarraldo; strategic alliance since 2021 with Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation, which selected CCW as one of the eight STRATEGIC ALLIES OF THE MISSION PARTICIPATION | CULTURE OBJECTIVE | CULTURE AND HEALTH AXIS for the development of the THREE-YEAR STRENGTHENING/TRANSFORMATION PLANS; national neworks and collaborations.

The steady academic and scientific background of the organization, which allows the sharing of knowledge on Culture&Care practices and research-based studies, also conveyed via their Executive Master.
