Luisa Saraiva’s work got support from the program INOV-Art, from the Portuguese Ministry of Culture in 2010 and by the Nordrhein-Westfalen Ministry of Culture. She also developed partnserships with Folkwang Museum in Essen and Galeria Municipal do Porto. Lately she has been collaborating with the Municipality of Lisbon and other cultural associations in conferences like a cultural forum about mental health and well being of dancers and other professionals of the cultural sector.
The direct and self-sustained approach of the professional artist with people with mental issues. The artist works mostly in the dance area, engaging with people with mental health issues by giving them tools to surpass the pressures of work in the artistic area and by sharing ideas and tips that may help in other areas of action and different persons.
